when the majority of a fandom gets a character’s personality completely wrong
time flies when you’re having fun and by fun i mean sitting at home stuffing your face staring at a computer screen and freaking out over things that aren’t real with strangers you met on the internet
Let's take a moment to understand a basic rule of fiction.
A good character does not necessarily equate to a good person and that’s a-okay. There are plenty of fictional jerks, villains and antagonists that get loads of attention precisely because of their flaws. These flaws may not make them a great person or model citizen but they certainly make them an interesting character.
What I see when looking at my OTP
- When they hug
- Normal person : Awhh they're close.
- Me: They're sexing.
- When they look at each other
- Normal person : They're just looking at each other.
- Me: They're sexing.
- When they stand next to each other
- Normal person: It's just a normal thing to do.
- Me: They're sexing.
- When they smile at each other
- Normal person: Ahw cute.
- Me : They're sexing.
- When they breathing the same air as each other
- Normal person : ...
- Me: They're sexing.
- If they're rooming together
- Normal person : I wonder what they like to do together.
- Me: Oh they're definitely sexing now.
- Conclusion: They are 24/7 sexing.
